Ne-Yo had rejected the Spice Girls for Rihanna. The musician revealed the band had requested him to write them a song, but he couldn’t do it because he was working with the “Umbrella” hitmaker. "Spice Girls asked me to write some songs but I couldn't find time. They wanted something to put on their comeback album but I never got round to getting it done. I was recording songs for Rihanna at that time," he was quoted, as saying.
Rihanna has teamed up with Maroon 5 to do a new version of their song “If I Never See Your Face Again”. They filmed a video in Los Angeles this week. The Barbados artist commented about the shoot, “I don’t do a lot of videos where I have so much chemistry with the other artist.” And M5’s leader Adam Levine said, “It’s really stylish and beautiful.” The song will be available in June.
